Tony Mira, Chairman & Chief Executive Officer

Tony Mira founded a physician practice management company in 1979 and grew the company to become one of the largest in the country.  Based on a vision of offering customizable solutions to healthcare organizations. In 2005, Mr. Mira founded the company now known as MiraMed Global Services.

Sue Mira, Chief Operating Officer

Sue Mira serves as Chief Operating Officer for MiraMed Global Services. Ms. Mira has been an administrative director at MiraMed for over 20 years. She is responsible for operational performance, overseeing contract negotiations, developing business partnerships and building client relationships that provide strong foundation for the company.

Fred Fazio, Chief Financial Officer

Fred Fazio serves as Chief Financial Officer and oversees the financial and risk management strategies for MiraMed Global Services.  Mr. Fazio has over 18 years of investment banking and private equity experience. Prior to joining MiraMed, Mr. Fazio served as Managing Director at Cantor Fitzgerald, where he was responsible for delivering investment banking services to Healthcare Information Technology clients.  Prior to joining Cantor, Mr. Fazio was a Managing Director in the Healthcare group at Jefferies, where he was employed for 11 years. He previously served in the Private Equity group at New York Life Capital Partners.  Mr. Fazio began his career in the Leveraged Finance group at Deutsche Bank.

Neda Ryan, In-House Compliance Counsel

Neda Ryan, Esq., serves as In-House Compliance Counsel with MiraMed Global Services. Ms. Ryan has experience in all areas of healthcare law, including healthcare transactional and corporate matters; healthcare litigation matters; providing counsel regarding compliance, fraud, abuse and reimbursement matters; and third party payer audit appeals. Prior to joining MiraMed, she devoted a portion of her practice to counseling physician group practices as well as healthcare billing and management companies on matters affecting their business practices. A graduate of the Michigan State University College of Law, Ryan is an accomplished speaker on various compliance-related topics aimed at corporate executives, physicians, physician groups, nurses, administrators, ambulatory surgery centers, and other facilities and healthcare professionals.

Stephanie Griffin, Chief Compliance Officer

Stephanie A. Griffin, RN, JD, CHC,  serves as Chief Compliance Officer for MiraMed Global Services.  Ms. Griffin works closely with senior executives and the Board to identify, propose and implement enhancements to the management and monitoring of risk, compliance and privacy protections. Ms. Griffin, an attorney and registered nurse (RN) with over 14 years of legal and compliance experience, is Certified in Healthcare Compliance® (CHC) by the Health Care Compliance Association® (HCCA). Her deep knowledge of fraud and abuse along with data privacy and security makes her a valuable asset to the MiraMed Family of Companies. Griffin’s previous experience with ConcertoHealth, as both Chief Clinical Operations Officer and Chief Compliance Officer & Privacy Officer, make her uniquely qualified to lead MiraMed’s corporate compliance program. Preceding positions with CommuniCare Family of Companies, LaVie Care Centers and Amerigroup demonstrate Griffin’s  commitment to the successful exploration of healthcare trends, and adherence to guidelines, laws, and government regulations to minimize corporate risk and enhance safety and opportunity for all concerned.

Cindy Becker, General Counsel

Cindy R. Becker, Esq. serves as General Counsel for MiraMed Global Services. Ms. Becker provides general legal counsel to internal stakeholders and the Board of Directors on company matters, as well as manages the company’s internal and external contracting process, including negotiating agreements on behalf of the organization. Ms. Becker’s prior legal and professional experience includes counseling numerous non-profit, for profit and public agency clients on a variety of complex transactional issues, including telecommunications, public law, corporate governance, M&A, governmental regulatory requirements, and health law, such as HIPAA, HITECH, Stark, and Anti-Kickback, as well as contract and employment law issues. Ms. Becker is also an extensive lecturer and published author on many health care related topics, including two HIPAA Compliance manuals. Ms. Becker was awarded her Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from the Delaware Law School, Wilmington, DE and has a bachelor’s of science degree in Finance from St. Joseph’s University, Philadelphia, PA.

Joe Miserendino, Senior Vice President of Sales

Joe Miserendino is Senior Vice President of Sales for MiraMed Global Services and as such oversees all sales and sales support functions. With more than 20 years of agency and health care industry experience, Mr. Miserendino provides enhanced revenue cycle management solutions and has been particularly successful with system conversions, AR clean ups, day one billing projects and purchase portfolio. Prior to joining MiraMed in 2005, Miserendino was Senior VP of Sales and VP of Operations for one of the world's largest provider of healthcare receivables management. In addition, Miserendino was Director of Business Development for two different publicly traded collection agencies. He is an active member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association and American Association of Healthcare Administrative Management.

Amber Broadwater, Vice President of Client Services – Coding Division

Amber Broadwater MBA, RHIA, LHRM, Vice President of Client Services – Coding Division is responsible for Health Information Management (HIM), coding and auditing functions for MiraMed Global Services. For over a decade, Ms. Broadwater has held various positions throughout the revenue cycle continuum in administration, implementation, operations, product development, compliance and strategic planning for several of the largest healthcare companies in the industry. She has experience serving HHS, as a committee member on the Healthcare Technology Standards and Interoperability Framework, and is an ICD-11 contributor for the World Health Organization. With an Masters of Business Administration and Bachelors of Science in Health Information Management from Florida International University, Broadwater is accredited as a Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) from the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA), a Licensed Health Risk Manager (LHRM) from University of Florida and certified as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt by The Council for Six Sigma Certification.

Phil Solomon, Vice President of Marketing Strategy

Phil C. Solomon serves as Vice President of Marketing Strategy for MiraMed Global Services. As a senior leader, he is responsible for creating and executing sales and marketing strategies which drive new business development and client engagement for the company’s business process outsourcing and revenue cycle service lines. Mr. Solomon has over 25 years of experience consulting on a wide spectrum of healthcare initiatives for clinical and revenue cycle performance improvement. He has worked with many of the industry’s largest health systems developing executable strategies for revenue enhancement, expense reduction and clinical transformation. Mr. Solomon is a published author and featured speaker for the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA), the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA), National Association of Healthcare Access Management (NAHAM) and the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS).

Joe Antonacci, Senior Vice President of Operations

Joe Antonacci is Senior Vice President of Operations for MiraMed Revenue Group and Virtual Recovery in Lombard, Illinois. In this key role, Antonacci oversees the first party customer billing, third party collection and benefits approval operations based at MMRG’s Lombard headquarters. With more than 25 years of collection agency, medical collection, BPO and call center-based customer care experience; Mr. Antonacci provides proven leadership in all facets of call center operations and management. During his career, Antonacci has consistently managed key clients to top performance levels. He has also designed, developed and delivered world class employee instruction in call centers around the globe during his extensive and successful career. Prior to joining MiraMed in 2012, Mr. Antonacci served as a Director at two of the account receivable management industry’s largest agencies as well as Vice President of Sales for a leading provider of collection and customer care solutions. Joe Antonacci’s extensive experience in operations, sales and employee development make him an ideal leader to meet both patient experience and revenue growth expectations for both Miramed Revenue Group and Virtual Recovery. Mr. Antonacci holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from William Paterson University and is an active member of the American Collectors’ Association.
